LG G Pad II 10.1 unveiled; features 10.1-inch display, 5MP camera, Android 5.1 Lollipop


LG has unveiled the most advanced model of its G Pad tablet dubbed G Pad II 10.1, which is said to offer more features than other devices in the same segment. The device will be showcased at the upcoming IFA event in Berlin next month.
Following its official debut, both LTE and Wi-Fi versions of G Pad II 10.1 will become available in markets such as North America, Europe and Asia. Price and availability details will be announced locally at the time of launch. It will be available in Brilliant Bronze colour variant.
In terms of specifications, the G Pad II 10.1 will sport a 10.1-inch WUXGA display with a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution along with a 224ppi. It is powered by a 2.26GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor paired with 2GB RAM.
The device runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and includes 16GB of internal space which can be further expanded via microSD card. It comes equipped with a 5MP rear camera along with a 2MP front facing camera.
In terms of connectivity, the device supports LTE Cat. 4 CA / Wi-Fi 802.11 a, b, g, n, ac/A-GPS /USB 2.0. It is backed by a 7,400mAh battery. LG says that the new LG G Pad II 10.1 comes with Reader Mode, which makes reading e-books more comfortable by reducing the blue light of the display backlight. The new Dual Window feature divides the screen, allowing users to run two applications at the same time.
QuickMemo+ allows users to instantly create, save and share their memos from any screen, without having to open a separate application. The G Pad II 10.1 also comes pre-loaded with Microsoft Office for Android Tablet and an additional 100GB of free OneDrive storage for two years.

The G Pad II delivers on all counts.”
